Our founder suffered from Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and PTSD his entire adult life. None of the myriad medications over the years helped. Finally, in 2018, he agreed to try ketamine infusions. Our founder suffered from Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and PTSD his entire adult life. None of the myriad medications over the years helped. Finally, in 2018, he agreed to try ketamine infusions. Within hours, the constant thoughts of "I need to be dead" were gone. His MDD remains in remission today with periodic maintenance infusions. Yet, the infusions are expensive, few insurance companies cover them (his does), and most private clinics do not take insurance. He made it a goal to create a fund to help. In 2022, that goal became a reality with the creation of Treatment Assistance Fund, Inc.

We have a singular focus: Save lives! Cost of treatment should not turn mental health disorders into terminal illnesses. We provide funds for cost of the treatments as well as transportation to and from the appointments within 50 miles of the client's home. Our assistance level is based on a sliding scale, up to full cost of the treatm

We provide funds for cost of the treatments as well as transportation to and from the appointments within 50 miles of the client's home. Our assistance level is based on a sliding scale, up to full cost of the treatment, based on need.
If our client has insurance but the clinic does not accept it, we will assist our client in filing a claim for reimbursement from their insurance company as well as assistance in appealing any denial of claim. We ask that our client direct any reimbursement to be made to TAFI so that we can continue to help as many clients as possible.
